Behavior Intervention Services improve the support of seriously emotionally disturbed children and youth through direct supervision, role modeling, and training of parents, guardians, or other family members. The Behavior Intervention Services consist of several different activities in which the Behavior Intervention Specialist may function in one or more of the following roles: mentor, parent aide or school assistance.
