BRAND ELEMENTS

HCS branded files — text, photos, logos, audio and/or video — are available upon request. Please email us your request with a detailed usage summary. We will respond and provide the necessary files upon approval from the Communications Manager.

Please note: The files provided are for a one time use only by the sole party receiving permission. A new request must be made for additional use not outlined in the original request.


LOGO GUIDELINES

Our logo is a unique, specially-created piece of artwork and must never be adapted or recreated. The elements of the logo must always appear in their fixed relationship, which may not be altered, adjusted or modified in any way.


USAGE POLICY

Without limiting the general applicability of the Terms of Use, the following conditions are specifically applicable to HCS brand elements regarding text, images, files, audio and/or video provided.

All brand elements provided must facilitate and enable the accurate representation of Highlands Community Services for editorial and news purposes only. Consequently permission to use HCS brand elements is granted to any person or entity solely for editorial and news purposes in newspapers, periodicals and electronic news programs; our community partners; for the purpose of sponsorship. They may not be used, reproduced, transmitted, distributed or otherwise exploited in any way other than as specified in the preceding sentence. Specifically, HCS brand elements may not be used in connection with the advertisement, promotion or sale of any products or services. Permission granted under this paragraph may not be transferred, sub-licensed or assigned.

HCS brand elements will be provided “as is” and without any warranties of any kind either express or implied or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Highlands Community Services shall have no liability whatsoever for the use of files provided. By using the files, the user agrees to indemnify Highlands Community Services and related companies, from and against any and all claims, expenses, damages and liabilities arising out of the use provided files, including any and all direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages and attorney’s fees.

Highlands Community Services (HCS) has provided mental health, substance use, and developmental services to the residents of Washington County and the city of Bristol, VA for over four decades. Media Inquiry

Media representatives must arrange interviews and photo shoots through HCS Communications. To ensure confidentiality and appropriate sensitivity to all individuals, reporters, video crews, and photographers should be accompanied by an HCS Communications representative at all times.
